The Inspection Body (I.B.) performs assesments and certifies Lifting Equipment, other Work Machinery & Simple Pressure Vessels with Capacity more or equal than 450lt that belongs to the existing install base of the Group of the PPC S.A. The I.B. has developed the appropriate Technical Guidelines that are critical, in order to implement impartial the relevant legislation regulations (FEK 1186/25.08.2003 “Regulation for the inspection of Lifting Equipment”, FEK 673/02.09.1993 “Regulation institution for the safety construction and distribution of Pressure Vessels etch.).
From April of 2007 is resident as a Type B Conformity Body, according to the requirements of the Hellenic Standard ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17020 and the criteria of the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD). The C.B. has the necessary trained and resident personnel, which are evaluated yearly from ESYD.
The I.B. disposes the relevant portable certified equipment which allows performing inspections in several areas, Production units and other frames of the Group of the PPC S.A.

- Other Machinery, Class (Low Risk): initial and periodical inspection (Type AA, Type A & B)
- Simple Pressure Vessels (with capacity more or equal than 450 Lit): periodical inspection (Type A & B)
