Robotics Laboratory

The robotics lab is active in activities such as:

• Photovoltaic parks
• Electricity transmission network
• Wind generators

It also carries out original research and development in all aspects of robotics, unmanned vehicles, automatic control and their applications.

The Laboratory experimented team is evolved & participate in the research project AUTOPSY (smArt mUlTi drOne insPection System for Critical EnergY Infrastructures) in order to be created an autonomous critical equipment inspection system of PPC S.A.

Subject of research :

• Theory and design of unmanned aircraft systems using stochastic, non-linear and optimization methods, including state estimation, adaptive control, parameter estimation and fault diagnosis.
• Processing and analysis of data and files by robotic systems.
• Use of instruments, sensors and intelligent devices that are necessary for the operation of the system.
• Assembling and programming the individual parts of an unmanned aerial vehicle.
• Robotics, automation and remote control application methodologies.
