The Laboratory of Strength of Materials have at its disposal the expertise and the appropriate equipment (tension machines, impact machines, furnaces, sample preparation equipment etc) for the execution of mechanical-destructive testing in raw materials (metals, plastics, elastomers, ceramics, composite materials), in industrial and electrical components (conductors, components for Low and Medium Voltage network), in personal protective equipment etc. The main activities of the Laboratory cover a wide range of tests, including tension tests, impact tests, bend tests and compression tests, while they maybe based on standards methods or they could be customized according to the needs of each customer.
