CREATION

The CREATION project aims to develop innovative sustainable anti-corrosion solutions by developing new materials and methods that will be done by surface modification of metal powders and by developing an appropriate methodology to prepare commercial products to be used as feedstock in innovative thermal spray deposition processes liquid feed (SPS). The innovative liquid thermal spray (SPS) coatings to be developed at CREATION, using precursor materials with an average particle size in the ultrafine and/or nano scale, will exploit the properties of nano-powders in the morphological characteristics of coatings with denser microstructures with better adhesion and greater resistance to chemical corrosion than conventional atmospheric thermal spray (APS) coatings.
