Scale up of Electrochemically Promoted Catalytic Hydrogenation of CO2 for fuel production.

We propose the experimental investigation of the conversion of CO2, captured from the flue gases of power stations, to light hydrocarbons, using electrochemically promoted monolithic reactors containing thin porous Ru films, or employing fixed bed semi-pilot scale reactors utilizing nanodispersed catalysts based on Ru supported on ionically conducting carriers which act as operando promoter donors.
